savory oats

not your usual bowl of oatmeal. but protein packed & extra flavorful; i swear.

ingredients:

  • 1/2 c. rolled oats

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 slices thick-cut bacon

  • toppings

    • pesto

    • goat cheese

    • walnuts

    • arugula

  • seasonings (all to taste)

    • salt/pepper

    • red pepper flakes

    • oregano

directions:

cook oats in the microwave or on the stovetop, whichever you prefer. while oats are cooking, prepare two slices of thiccccc bacon & two eggs — i prefer sunny side up for the runny yolk. once the eggs are done & bacon is extra crispy, plop them on top of your prepared oatmeal. then add a spoonful of pesto, a sprinkle of goat cheese & walnuts, a handful of arugula followed by all the seasonings that your heart desires.
