hi you, i’m Amanda! thanks for stopping by. i am the founder, creator, and editor of AmandaFitLife, a healthy lifestyle blog. i originally started this blog back in 2014 in an attempt to hold myself accountable in my eating disorder recovery, following a relapse. since then, i’ve recovered and am overjoyed to say i’ve found a new vigor for life — a life that i’m excited and grateful to be able to share with you.

a little bit more about me — i’m a 23 year old based in Boston, MA. i currently work full-time in a marketing and social media role (ironically enough), while also pouring my time, energy, efforts, and love into FitLife.

you see, FitLife is more than a blog that features healthy eating tips, fat-free/taste-free/fun-free recipes, exercise routines and so on. after wasting so many years hyper-focused on my body, meticulously controlling everything i ate (and every workout to boot), isolating myself from everyone & everything, i now have a different perspective.

i finally feel like i am living, and that makes me so happy. so happy that i want to share it with you. for those of you that have had similar struggles. and for those of you that have not. life is meant to be lived; not consumed by food, exercise, body image, and more.

so here, at AmandaFitLife you’ll find a little bit of everything. recipes that are fun to make and eat. my “in the moment” thoughts related to body-image & self love — unfiltered and truthful; the highs and the lows. the best spots all over Boston. and plenty more. so welcome, i hope you stay awhile.
